Pets need to be taken care of and kept safe from dangers. There are dangers that can occur both in and outside the home. In the home there may be poisons or objects that can harm a dog. Make sure these items are secure and out of reach.
If your dog is outside, he should be protected from other animals that may attack the dog and harm him. It also should be secured so he is not able to get out of the yard. If the dog gets out, he may be lost, taken by someone else or be exposed to dangers from automobiles. Make sure the inside of your home is safe and the yard your dog spends time in is secure and free from danger.
